The journal is committed to ensure that privacy of author(s) is protected. It may change this policy from time to time or while updating the web page. The journal gathers following information:
• Name of the author
• Institutional affiliation
• Contact Information including Email Address
• Education Qualification
• Occupation
The aforementioned information is required for valuing the needs of the users and offer better services.

PUBLISHING POLICIES

Publication Ethics
Nurturing Traditions is earmarked to maintain the integrity of the academic and research work. We encourage authors to refer to the Publication Ethics’ and follow them.

Plagiarism
The journal earnestly takes issues of copyright intrusion, plagiarism or any similar violations. The journal safeguards the rights of its authors and examines the claims of plagiarism or misuse of published work. At the same time, an effort is made to protect the repute of the journal against malpractices. Hence, the articles submitted for publication must be double checked with plagiarism software. If an article is found to have plagiarized the work of others or incorporated third-party copyright material without seeking permission or lack due acknowledgement, or if the authorship of the article is challenged, the editorial board holds the right to take strict action including, but not limited to: withdrawal of the article; taking up the issue with author’s head of the institution and/or appropriate academic body or organizations; or taking suitable legal action.

Prior Publication
The already published data/ information are not acceptable for publication in the journal.

Contributor's Publishing Agreement
Before publication, the journal requires the author to sign an agreement. It is an exclusive contract which connotes that the author holds the copyright of the work but grants journal the sole right to publish for the full legal term of copyright.

EDITORIAL POLICIES

Peer Review Policy
It may be noted that as part of the submission process, the author will be asked to provide the names of reviewers who could review the manuscript. Suggested reviewers must be experts in the fields and be able to judiciously and impartially assess the article. Please be conscious of any conflicts of interest while suggesting the name of reviewers. Conflicts of interest include (but are not limited to) the below:
• The reviewer should not be aware about the submission of paper
• The reviewer should not have of late worked together with the author(s)
• Reviewer should not be from same institution to which the author belongs to
However, it may be noted that the editors are neither bound to send the article to the reviewers recommended by the author nor the author can claim or pressurize for the same.

DUTIES OF EDITORS

• The Editor-in-Chief and Editors of the journal are accountable for choosing which articles are to be accepted for publication after completion of peer review process.
• The Editor-in-Chief and Editors assess the paper(s) on the basis of academic content irrespective of race, gender, religious conviction, ethnicity, nationality, or political affiliation of authors.
• The Editor-in-Chief, Editors and Editorial Board will not reveal any information about the submitted papers to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers and publisher.
• Unpublished content of submitted article cannot be used by anyone while handling the paper(s) for his/ her own research.

DUTIES OF REVIEWERS

• Assist in peer review process and making editorial judgment through editorial communications with author
• Help the author in refining the article, wherever applicable
• If the reviewer is unable to undertake the job of reviewing, he/she will convey the same to the Editor-in-Chief and Editors
• Confidentially process the articles received for review.
• Review the article judiciously and empirically averting any discrimination and personal prejudice.
• Try to determine whether the relevant published work has been used by the author and duly acknowledged/ referred / cited
• Maintain the confidentially of the information or ideas achieved during the peer review process.

DUTIES OF AUTHORS

Authorship
All who have made a substantial contribution in writing the article must be listed as authors. First author/ authorship order must be based on the relative scientific or academic input of the persons involved, regardless of their rank/ position. Authors should:
• Present correct information and original thoughts. Supporting data should be represented accurately in the article. An article must have particulars of cited work / acknowledgment.
• Certify that the content is completely original, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, it must be aptly cited or quoted.
• Prevent concurrent submission of same article to more than one journal, which is unprincipled and undesirable.
• Must acknowledge the work of others/ funding (if any) received for the research
• Article published or under review somewhere else, will be cancelled.

Corresponding Author
The author who takes the sole responsibility of communicating with the journal during the submission, peer review and publication process, and confirms that journal’s requirements, for instance specifying details of authors, consent of ethical committee, and gathering conflict of interest statements, are fulfilled.
The corresponding author will sign the contract on behalf of all of the authors and his/her contact details are incorporated on the article. The authors if submitting article pertaining to clinical trials/ medical science/ animal and/or human studies must follow the relevant guidelines of Ethical Committee/ Institutional Review Board.
